Bridge Capital donates $7K to the Manta Ray BandMarch 31, 2010
Bridge Capital, LLC located in Saipan, CNMI is proud to announce a donation of the remaining $7000 needed to send the Saipan Southern High School Manta Ray Band New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall and the Central Park Band Shell.
The Manta Ray Band, consisting of 40 members along with 10 chaperones, will travel to New York for the week of April 16th to 23rd.
Bridge Capital is a strong supporter of the arts and believes this trip will be a great way to continue the development of the Island’s art programs. According to John K. Baldwin, Principal and CEO of Bridge Capital, “This is a great opportunity for the members of the Manta Ray Band and an accomplishment that the entire Commonwealth should be proud of. Bridge Capital wishes the band the best of luck with their upcoming performances.”
Saipan Southern High School’s Band Director, Will DeWitt, indicated that the $7,000 will be used to cover the cost of instrument transportation and insurance and will bring them to the fundraising finish line with time to spare.
