Bridge Capital donates $1K for Independent Football Club of Koblerville

Bridge Capital LLC, located in Saipan, CNMI has announced an initial donation of $1000 to the Independent Football Club of Koblerville, Saipan. The company has further issued a challenge to the business community to encourage the support of the club.
According to John K. Baldwin, Principal and CEO of Bridge Capital, the company will make an additional matching donation of up to a total of $1000 dollars for donations received from the general business community. 

Bridge Capital is a strong supporter of the development of youth sports on the island and believes these type of activities are a key to developing teamwork, promoting physical activity and good health, and fostering community spirit and a sense of pride in CNMI’s youth.

IFC has earmarked the donations to pay for registration and equipment costs for the upcoming 2010 NMIFA Youth Football seasons. IFC President Glenn Smith said, “Most of the kids that join our club cannot afford the shoes, shin guards, socks and registration fees; this is why we approached Bridge about sponsorship. This donation will help pay for two seasons of soccer for at least 40 children from the south side of the island.”
